In 2024, Vote your Convictions
Thoughts from an Independently Minded Swing Voter
I’m a swing voter. I voted for Bill Clinton twice, Barack Obama twice and Hillary Clinton, and a few Republicans along the way.
This year, I’ll be voting anything-but-Democrat. Not because I dislike Democrats, but because I believe that many claiming to be Democrats in 2024 are imposters.
Only a few years ago, Democrats were the party of secure borders to protect middle class wages. Bernie Sanders claimed Open Borders was the goal of the Koch Brothers. Now those claiming to be Democrats, under Joe Biden, have opened our borders to millions of strangers, the majority of whom are no longer even from Central or South America.
People claiming to be Democrats have thrown Blacks, Hispanics and poor Whites under the bus in favor of people here illegally. They have kicked veterans out of their homes and children out of their schools to make way for millions of mostly young men whose identities we don’t even know. What happens to the women and children they left behind?
Would real Democrats throw poor people under the bus for votes?
No, obviously not. We know the answer because Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and countless generations of Democrats back to John F Kenedy protected our borders. Joe Biden did a complete reversal. What changed?
Every 10 years the US takes a census and uses it to determine how many people are voted into Congress. The census doesn’t require respondents to provide proof of citizenship. Democrats have been using this loophole to pack congress and seize permanent control over states like California and New York. It’s election fraud at scale.
Would real Democrats rig elections?
Unfortunately, this is not a rhetorical question. We know Democrats are rigging elections because they rig their own primaries.
Robert F Kennedy would have probably defeated Joe Biden in a fair fight. And he probably could have beaten Trump too. But the DNC rigged the primaries so he had no chance. Joe Biden has even denied Robert Kennedy Jr secret service protection. The same Joe Biden that plagiarized speeches of the late Bobby Kennedy, RFK Jr's father 😔
Bernie Sanders could have beaten Hillary Clinton and maybe Trump too. But again, the DNC intervened to cancel Democracy inside its own party. And you want us to believe they play fair in national elections?
We already know the answer. According to the FBI, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), with personal involvement of the Clintons, paid a UK spy to create the Steele Dossier, claiming amongst other things that Trump was engaging in Golden Showers with Russian Prostitutes. Totally bogus, and yet there have been no consequences.
Would real Democrats try to put journalists in jail?
No they wouldn’t. We know that because Democrats were behind the Free Speech movement of the 1960s. Back then, the government would censor information about the VietNam war. Activists at UC Berkeley and other Universities stepped up to call for transparency. Journalists such as Bob Woodward and his partner Bernstein published papers they obtained from the Pentagon to expose atrocities. They were awarded medals for their work.
Today people claiming to be Democrats are trying to throw Julian Assange into jail for essentially doing the same thing as Woodward & Bernstien. They are not real Democrats, they are authoritarians in drag.
Are Democrats the Party of War?
Not until recently. But now Democrats are calling for Americans to fund endless wars in Ukraine and the Middle East. In fact, people claiming to Democrats, calling for cease fire to help Hamas, seem to have no interest in a cease fire in Ukraine to avert World War III.
President Kennedy stood up to the Russians when they were meddling in our backyard. Now NATO is meddling in Russia's backyard. Does that give them the right to invade Ukraine and kill civilians? No, it does not. But we should consider every possiblity to avoid a nuclear disaster, but people claiming to be Democrats are acting like trigger happy cowboys 🤠 not the peace makers they once were.
Would real Democrats erase progress for women?
Democrats fought for the rights of women for decades. They were active in giving women the right to vote and freedom to choose whatever career they wanted. They supported equality without sacrificing the safety of women.
Now people claiming to be Democrats can’t even tell you what a woman is. In fact, most of them support the idea that anybody who claims to be a woman is a woman, even a man! This isn't progress. It's a collective dellusion. And it's not without dire conequences for many women and young girls.
Numerous men have seized on this gender madnesss to get admitted into women’s prisons and rape women inmates. A lot of people claiming to be Democrats say this isn’t a big problem. That’s not true for those who have been raped like the woman who is suing New York State and countless others like her.
Real democrats helped create woman's sports and fight for equal financial opportunities. Now they are telling young girls they need to compete in a shot put competition with boys? No real Democrat would have supported that even a few years ago and only imposters claiming to support women advocate for it now.
If you are planning to vote for a Democrat in 2024, you are not voting your convictions unless maybe you are bi-polar. You are more likely to be a tribalist or so blinded by hate you can't see clearly. Whatever it is, you are not using critical thinking skills and that's putting a lot of people in danger.
I hope to vote Democrat again one day, but that's not today, and it won’t be until real Democrats take back their party from the imposters running it now.
